Why a round brilliant

The round brilliant carries 57 or 58 facets arranged to send the most light back to the eye, which is why it sparkles harder than any other shape. It is also the most studied cut in the trade, so its proportions are well understood and its grading is consistent from stone to stone. If you want the most familiar choice, the one that holds its appeal across decades, this is it.

How to build yours

Each Luma ring starts as a setting. You choose the style, then the diamond, then the metal. A round centre suits all of them. It sits cleanly in a four or six claw solitaire, sharpens inside a halo, and anchors a three stone design. Round centres run from 1.5ct upward, and each stone is independently certified. You see the exact diamond and its certificate before anything is set.
