A bespoke piece starts with something you already carry. A memory, a milestone, a stone that has been in the family for years, or simply a picture in your head of the thing you have never quite been able to find.
Our part is to listen first and design second. You bring the idea, however rough, and we shape it into something wearable, considered and entirely your own. Nothing is off the shelf and nothing is rushed. Every piece is drawn, refined and made by hand in our Hatton Garden workshop, priced openly so you always know exactly what you are paying for.
The result is a piece that means something the day you receive it, and keeps meaning something long after.

It begins with a conversation. Four steps from a rough idea to a finished piece, with a free consultation and no obligation to go ahead.

STEP 02
Design together
A free consultation, in Hatton Garden or remotely, to refine the design and confirm the price.
STEP 03
We make it
Your piece is made to order in Hatton Garden. Most take three to four weeks before dispatch.
STEP 04
Yours for good
Hallmarked at the London Assay Office, with IGI or GIA certificates on every diamond.

Every Luma bespoke piece is made by the same small team that designs it. No outsourcing, no middlemen.
A workshop, not a warehouse
Hatton Garden has been London's jewellery quarter for more than a century, and it is where every Luma piece is made. With over 25 years of experience at the bench, our team treats each commission as its own project rather than an order to fulfil.
That means you deal with the people actually making your piece. When you ask a question about a setting or a stone, you are talking to the person who will hold the tools, not a call centre reading from a script.

Our lab grown diamonds are graded by the IGI, and some by the GIA, on cut, colour, clarity and carat.

Covered by our lifetime manufacturing warranty, backed by UK consumer law.
Free resizing
If the fit is not quite right, we will resize your ring free of charge.

Repair before redesign
Not every piece needs remaking. Chains, clasps, stones and resizing are often a straightforward repair at our Hatton Garden workshop.

How much does bespoke jewellery cost?
Everyday bespoke pieces start from around £500 and bespoke engagement rings from £820. Every quote is broken down by metal, stone and making, so you know exactly what you are paying for.
How long does a bespoke piece take?
Most pieces are made to order in Hatton Garden and take around three to four weeks before dispatch. More detailed designs can take a little longer.
Do I have to commit when I enquire?
Not at all. Every enquiry starts with a free consultation and a clear quote. You only go ahead once you are happy with the design and the price.
Can you use a stone or piece I already own?
Yes. Redesigns and heirloom stones are some of our favourite work. Bring what you have and we will talk through the options.
Are your diamonds certified?
Yes. Our lab grown diamonds are independently graded, most by the IGI and some by the GIA, on cut, colour, clarity and carat.
Can we work together remotely?
Absolutely. Plenty of our clients design their piece entirely by email and video call. Everything can be handled without visiting in person.
